It was sure a busy time. We were able to see all of our family. Clark's 3 nieces even made it to our house this year! We tried the self-timer, but it didn't work out so well. This is a picture of the kids. Hope everyone had a safe holiday!
No Pictures!! We had Thanksgiving at mom's in Waurika. I didn't even take any pics. Then, the day after T-day we have the Johnston clan in our home. It was great!
The final port is Cozumel. It is also so hot!! We decided to go helmet diving. It was unbelievable. We went down around 35 feet with helmet that weighed about 70 lbs. each. We held a starfish, a sea crab, and an octopus. It pushed us to look into scuba now. We puttered around in some shops and headed back to the ship for lunch and a cool down. What an amazing time! The next day we were at sea all day and the following day home. This was one fabulous week. What a great way to spend our 2nd anniversary! Our server presented us with a piece of cake at dinner. The tradition is to kiss while the guests and staff sings "Happy Anniversary". Watch the video to see us helmet diving.
Grand Cayman is the second port on the cruise. It is a quite exspensive place. There is a Ritz Carlton that is booked for the next 5 years at $800 a night for the cheapest room. Condos start at 2.9 million. Of course, Bill Gates and Michael Jackson own one. Our highlight of the island was sailing and swimming and feeding stingrays. I was a little timid, but enjoyed holding them. Clark loved it all!!! We had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe and shopped in the Harley store. It is quite an experienced getting tot he island since there is no dock and each passenger has to be tender in from the sea. About 200 people fit on the one of the boats. The island is so beautiful and worth the trip.
