The happy couple!

It is only 84 more day until our cruise. We have had an amazing couple of weeks. It has been one rollercoaster ride! We are so happy sharing our lives together. Thank you to all that have been a part of our lives. We are so thankful to all that has helped with letters of reference and helped with Ty and Tori when we need it! Our family at Bridge Creek Church of Christ is simply amazing. Thank you!!

T n T with Hendrix

Ty isn't so sure about Hendrix, but decided to finally hold him. Tori gets a little giddy around Hendrix. She wants our family to have a baby so bad!! She was constantly washing her hands so she could touch him. She loved to just sit and stare at him while he was at our house.

Hendrix

Kyle and Amber checked into the hospital on March 31. Amber was having lots of difficulty and it was eventually determined that her heart was at risk. Lawton transported her to OU Medical Center in OKC. After four days of trying to deliver Hendrix, he was born on 4-4-08 at 11:12 am. He weighed 8 lbs 4 ozs. and was a little over 20 inches long. Hendrix was released from the hospital on 4-7-08 and Clark and I were priveledged with taking care of him until Amber was well enough to do so. He is the apple in our eye!! James Hendrix Holman!!

Easter 2008

It was freezing since Easter was so early this year. The cold weather did not stop a couple of 6 year olds from finding the prize eggs. Ty even managed with his cast. This was his first cast for casting therapy on his ankle.

Adoption

March 31 was our last court date. All will be finalized within a couple of weeks. Ty and Tori are so excited to be Johnstons.

Youth Lock-In

Our first lock in at Bridge Creek CofC was a huge success. We had planned activities throughout the night of March 14 and ended with a breakfast on March 15. There was a total of 16 kids and an overall total of 35 people throughout the night! There were so many of the congregation that assisted including cooking breakfast and clean-up!!
